"We stayed at Oyster Opera as family of 4 with two teenage boys. We rented two waterside cottages which were comfy and well equipped, both with an outside bathroom bordered by banana trees. The location is fantastic and very scenic. The local staff are attentive and helpful despite limited English. The extensive buffet food options are plentiful and delicious with a chai break in the afternoon. The boat trips to the beach and to view the sunset allow visitors to see some local life.

"The backwaters where Oyster Opera is located are beautiful. Me and my boyfriend stayed three nigths and Mr Gul offered us many things to enjoy the place to its full: great food in large quantities, boat rides along the backwaters, excursions to a beautiful beach and backwaters swimming. On site there's swimming pool, playground and kayaks for use but we just relaxed and kicked back for the two days we were there."

I visited Oyster Opera with a group of friends recently and we were so impressed by the fantastic hospitality we received. Vijay and the team organised activities (such as swimming in backwaters and boat trips to nearby beaches) and transport at our request and tailored dietary needs to the exceptional all-inclusive food service, enjoyed at the resort.The chef presented local dishes to us and lunch was served on a banana leaf.

Where to start… what a stay at Oyster! hands down sone of the best service have experienced not just in India, but the world! the team couldn’t be more helpful and go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Even getting a friend to a doctor when needed.Resort is great too among palm trees by backwaters. Great area for Theyyam and lots of beaches and a village nearby to get any supplies you need. They even have their own rain shower! be ready to dance !
